-It's time to leave … The time has come – Okay, Sir … -An answer that revealed nostalgia in the voice. In a matter of seconds all of life went through his mind like a feature film in which images of childhood, adolescence and adulthood were joined. He looked at his bedside. There was a suitcase. "At what point did I pack my things?" He thought, and preferred not to ask Jesus that question, waiting for him with an expression of tenderness on his face. What good would it do? He wondered, reasoning that he would leave to never return … And it was at that moment that he reflected on how much he had not done in life. While it is true he could not return the time, he was deeply saddened by the memory of how little he had shared with his wife. Work, there was always work and very little space for her. And the children, so quickly spent the years that he did not realize that they had grown up until the day one of them graduated from college … But something else disturbed him. He was accountable to the Creator, and partly satisfied. And their neighbors … What would happen when they should go to the judgment seat of Christ? He had argued so many occupations that he never shared the gospel. And your coworkers would go to eternity with God? Most likely not, because he did not preach to them either … and his next family. Where would he go when he started the trip without return? Surely the eternal darkness because he did not share the Good News of Jesus Christ … A knot was made in his throat … He had definitely spent a lot of time, his talents and opportunities … -It's time to leave … -the Lord Jesus reminded him with love in his words. And they began to walk to the beyond … There was no time … It's time to take an inventory. What do we do with each moment of our life? Time escapes like water in your hands. Have you thought about that? No matter how hard we try, we can not turn back time. The minute that advanced, it is impossible to back it. Have you meditated that after a few years you will be sorry for the precious moments you squandered today? This is an inexorable and inapelable reality. But there is something even more complex: at this very moment many, perhaps dozens of people, are leaving for eternity. The serious thing is that the great river of those who die, did not accept Jesus Christ as their only and sufficient Savior. That is, they went to the beyond without Christ … And if we stick to what the Scriptures say, those who died will go to eternal damnation. But the story could be different … It was enough that you or I dedicated more time to share the Good News Among those who do not know the redemptive work of Jesus, the Son of God, how does he invest his talents? When we meditate on this aspect, we can not help but remember the parable of the talents. We find this passage in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 25, verses 14 through 30. The Lord Jesus Christ made the parallel: "For the kingdom of heaven is like a man who, going far away, called his servants and gave them his goods. To one he gave five talents, and to another two, and to another one, to each according to his ability; and then he went away "(verses 14 and 15). Here we find two fundamental aspects: a. – God delegated authority and power in his servants to invest the talents. God knows the aptitudes and potentialities of every person. Maybe you have not valued your abilities, but the Lord does. He knows how far you can get in His hands. Called to multiply the talents The center of the matter is: How do we invest those talents? Many Christians who have professional training or empirical training, waste all their potential and are limited to going to the temple. Imagine how much those lives could be served by the Lord? A doctor, a nurse, a construction worker, a plumber … in short, many people who could join social brigades, and through these days take the opportunity to preach. From your abilities and abilities, there are countless ideas that can arise and that we could take advantage of so that the Word of God can be preached. However, in life we will find those who multiply the gifts, and those who assume an indifferent attitude. "And the one who had received five, also won another five. But the one who had received two, also won two others. But he who had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money "(verses 18 to 20). Sooner or later we will give an account. It is inapelable that we will give an account to the Lord regarding how we use our rdomia. "After a long time the lord of those servants came and settled accounts with them" (Verse 19). He thought of pastors, leaders and Christians who were content to live with Christ under the four walls of the temple. They never went out to evangelize. They always waited for the souls to come to the congregation. They never went out in search of those lives that are lost without eternal salvation. In a way, people condemned to eternal damnation are our responsibility. Imagine for a moment that you are enjoying paradise. Everything around you is beautiful. However, something breaks the tranquility. There are thousands of beings that scream desperados in hell. And you recognize that you could have saved dozens, just by sharing the gospel. I had no tempo. His argument was that he was always busy. And because of him, the souls were lost … Faithful in the little, faithful in the much There is something else that I invite you to examine. God has a reward for his people. What you do for the propagation of the gospel will have its divine recognition. He told those who had multiplied their talents: "Well, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will give you a lot over you: enter into the joy of your master "(encontrarse 23). The apostle Paul also wrote: "Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast and steadfast, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor in the Lord is not in vain" (1 Corinthians 15:58). I know people who they aspire, overnight, to go preach to the nations, but they never dare to distribute an evangelistic treatise or pamphlet. Or those who wish to be pastors of prosperous churches where the congregation is huge, but are not able to go out to evangelize in the streets. God let today begin to think honestly: How are you investing your talents? Do not let your abilities remain asleep, while thousands of people are lost in eternity without Christ … Ps.
